“That’s the ugliest wedding dress I’ve ever seen.”
“Imagine… what she’s picked out for us.”

So begins this romp of former college roommates, now women over 40, reunited as bridesmaids for one of their own. But as they begin to plan this second wedding, they find that the off-the-rack gowns are designed for twenty-something year olds, that bridal registries push things the bride already has, and lots of new “etiquette” rules must be addressed like should the ex-in-laws be invited and who’s going to pay for it all.

The solution is simple: they decide to open Second Chances to help others traverse the second wedding waters. At least that’s what they say in their ads.

The real reason, of course, is that each of their lives is a little screwy right now and starting a business seems like a fun thing to do.
